Project Info

Project Description

Electronic Arts (EA) is a world leader in advanced entertainment gaming systems. Senior management wanted to re-design their Canadian headquarters.

We led interactive sessions to hone in on Electronic Arts’ business goals, company vision, business challenges and perceived constraints.

This key information along with the results of intensive workplace mapping interviews was the foundation for our design solution.

We presented our recommendations with sketches, layouts and image boards for a variety of proposed work environments. Information sessions revealed that internal design teams working on specific games wanted their own identity that reflected their unique style, culture, work habits and maturity within the organization. We used city maps from around the world and from different eras as an inspirational jumping off point for our creative concept. We embraced the uniqueness of internal design camps while keeping an eye on the corporation’s global message focusing on an appetite for change and growth. “It takes a village” to launch a wildly successful game at Electronic Arts.

We delivered an interior design solution that promoted and facilitated work strategies and challenges like: improved communication, speed to market, recruiting and team retention.
